WHO ME ?

A quadtych series based on The Who, the English rock band with their classic lineup comprising lead singer Roger Daltrey, guitarist and singer Pete

Townshend, bass guitarist and singer John Entwistle, and drummer Keith Moon.

The title of each portrait is followed by a Who number that I will always associate with each character.

Homage to Mike McInnerney, the creator of the wonderful artwork on the Tommy album, shown in the backing of each portrait.

EVERY PORTRAIT HAS IT'S OWN STORY TO TELL

a sort of WHO'S WHO !!!!

Roger Daltrey CBE

"TOMMY'S GONE FISHING" - My Generation

Roger, lead singer of The Who, played the part of Tommy in the British satirical operetta fantasy drama film.  He has a great love for fishing and started a trout farm in Sussex in the early 80's.

Keith Moon was known for his unique style of playing and his eccentric, often self-destructive behaviour. Famed for his childish pranks including blowing up toilets with cherry bombs. He had a sign at the entrance to Tara house, where he lived, saying "Caution Children a Play".
