Analysis: Former drummer and frontman of rock band Genesis fell in love with The Battle of Alamo and Davy Crockett since the early age of 5. He donated his priceless collection of Alamo and Texan artifacts to the Texas General Land Office and was in turn made an “honorary” Texan. The state is in the process of building a museum at Alamo Plaza in San Antonio, to display these artifacts.

The “ No Jacket Required” album was named after an incident at The Pump Room restaurant in Chicago, Illinois. Phil went to eat with Robert Plant but was denied entry because he did not meet the restaurant’s dress code “jacket required”.

Phil is wearing a Davy Crockett racoon hat, no jacket (obviously), a tie made from his bass drum pedal plus a rifle replaced by his signature drumstick.
