PLANT LIFE - through the ages

"Does anyone remember laughter?" - Robert Plant CBE

Analysis:  Robert Plant, singer, songwriter, best known as being lead singer and lyricist of Led Zeppelin.  He is not so well known for his love of stamp collecting, Meccano and Wolverhampton Wanders, the later to which he became Vice-president.

His interest in Welsh history is depicted here by using part of the bronze statue of Prince Owain Glyndwr, the 15th century rebel leader, to which he contributed and attended for the unveiling at Pennal Church near near Machynlleth  On the gauntlet there is the symbol of Wolverhampton Wanders and also his notorious feather sigil which represents the feather of Ma’at, the ancient Egyptian goddess of truth, justice, harmony, and balance. Being the lyricist for Led Zeppelin, the feather can also be seen as a pen representing the band’s songwriter.

There is of course the "stairway to heaven".
