John Caudwell is the British billionaire businessman who founded the

mobile phone retailer Phones 4U.

Thanks to John’s success in business, he is able to support the projects and causes that he is most passionate about. He founded “Caudwell Children”, a charity that transforms the lives of disabled children across the UK

and “Caudwell LymeCo”, which raises money for research into Lyme Disease and gives advice to sufferers. He

has also supported a wide variety of other causes, including the creation of the Bomber Command Memorial,

to the Elton John Aids Foundation and the Prince’s Trust.

As a signatory to the Giving Pledge, John is committed to giving at least 70 percent of his wealth to charitable causes during and after his lifetime.

Analysis: My understanding is that the mobile phones played an important part in building his success so they have become the bricks, together with the architecture  of his Mayfair home, representing  his investment in real estate. Most importantly the hands emphasise the incredible amount of time and money he gives to charity.
